Frances May is a beloved boutique in Portland’s West End, known for its thoughtful curation and independent spirit. Named after founder Pamela Baker’s grandmother, a schoolteacher, the brand has always carried a quiet sense of lineage and care.
I led a full identity refresh to help the brand grow while staying grounded in its origin. The new system reinforces the idea that fashion should be a celebration. It is subtle, joyful, and deeply personal. Built with restraint, the identity creates space for the shop’s evolving curation to shine, while maintaining a distinct point of view.
From packaging to palette, every element was created to balance nostalgia with clarity. The result is a brand that feels elevated without losing its roots.
